A lovely 3 ply wool yarn created exclusively from the wool of our natural colored flock of Romney sheep. It's natural lustre lends a frosty sheen to the soft grey brown of this supple yarn. Because it has a harder twist and is very strong, it would be an excellent wool yarn for winter outerwear and socks.

Pure Merino wool yarn in walnut brown flecked  with misty grey combine to create this versatile heathered yarn. Two-ply, with a light soft twist makes for lovely bounce and luxurious softness; it would be perfect for a next-to-the skin garment. Velvety soft Merino forms the core of this extraordinary wool yarn.  Wrapping the outside is our Silver Romney wool yarn.  The overall effect of this wool yarn is of strings of rich silver pearls.  It has extraordinary loft and superlative hand.  Envisioned and designed by our shepherd, this would make a gorgeous sweater. It also works well to make the type of  felted hats that are knitted first and then felted.
